In this workshop Children’s author Sinead O’Hart will explore what makes a myth, drawing from her books The Silver Road and Sword of the Sun which are rich with magic and mythology. Participants will get to hear about her favourite stories and characters and learn how to create their own mythological tales.

Sinéad O’Hart is the author of The Eye of the North, The Star-Spun Web, Skyborn, The Time Tider, The Silver Road and Sword of the Sun (all for readers 8+) and the Lola and Larch series (for readers 6+). She has been shortlisted for the CBI Book of the Year and the An Post Book of the Year, and she won the European Science Fiction Society’s Chrysalis
Award in 2018 for her debut novel, The Eye of the North. She co-hosts the Storyshaped podcast, available on all podcast streaming services.
